3/4 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup white sugar
1 1/4 cups butter
1 tsp. vanilla
1 1/2 cups flour
1 1/4 tsp. cinnamon
1 egg
3/4 tsp. salt
1 tsp. baking soda
1/3 tsp. nutmeg
3 cups oatmeal
1 cup Hammons Black Walnuts
1/2 cup raisins or chocolate chips, optional
Mix sugars, egg, butter and vanilla together. Stir in remaining ingredients. Spoon onto a cookie sheet. Bake at 350° F for 10 minutes. Cool. Makes approximately 3 dozen.
